“HOWDY!!!”

 

My name is Robin James.  I've been teaching science (which is the best subject EVER) since 1996. I grew up in Orange County and I'm very proud to be from the Golden Triangle. 

 

My family has a very busy life like most of my students and their parents.  I married my high school sweetheart way back in 1997 and we have two great kids.  My daughter, Jenna, is in her senior year of college at University or Mobile in Alabama.  She is majoring in Coastal Ecology and plans on getting her masters degree in Environmental Science.  She attends college on a softball scholarship where's she pitches for the Lady Rams.  My son, Justin, is 16 and is in his junior year of high school at LCM.  He is a member of the Bass Team.  His freshman year, he qualified for the National Championship on Kentucky Lake.  We have two dogs; Dixie and Maddie.  Dixie is a golden retriever and is old.  She loves to sleep and snore.  Maddie is a havanese.  Like most small dogs, she loves to bark at everything.

I love teaching science!  I'm hoping this year will be a great year!  We do have a lot of fun in science.  It is great to teach a concept and then be able to have a hands-on activity to go with it.
